Excellent recipe for perfect meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 # ground veal
  • 1/2 # ground pork
  • 1 # ground beef
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 TBS fresh parsley-chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a large bowl and thoroughly combine all ingredients
  2. Using a measuring cup or ice cream scoop, remove meat mixture and very lightly roll into a ball
  3. Place meatballs onto a baking tray, lightly oiled or sprayed
  4. Bake meatballs for 25 minutes at 350°
  5. Remove from oven and place into a pot of your favorite tomato sauce
  6. Allow to cook at low temperature at least 1 hour in order to absorb the sauce
