  • 2 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. Wash rice thoroughly; remove any dark pieces; drain and place into a heavy saucepot that is at least 6 cups in size and has a cover
  2. Add water and salt; put on medium-high heat and bring to a boil; stir well and cover; reduce heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes until all water has evaporated. Rice should be tender and hot

Serves 4-6
