  • 2 cans whole green beans, washed and drained
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 2 strips of bacon
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (may be roasted)
  1. Rinse green beans and place in covered glass microwavable dish with ¼ cup water; microwave on high for 5 minutes; drain and set aside
  2. In a wok cook bacon over medium high heat, remove and crumble, rendering grease; then add butter;
  3. Once butter is melted, add onion and sauté for 2 minutes;
  4. Add green beans, crumbled bacon, and pecans, cook for 3 minutes
  5. Remove to serving dish

Serves 6
