  • 1 cup raw long or extra long grain rice
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • ¼ bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 4-6 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp minced fresh parsley
  • ¼ stick butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimento, diced
  • ½ tsp curry
  1. Cook rice in pot with all ingredients about 40 minutes; toss lightly when complete

Serves 4
