Great comfort food for the late fall and winter evenings

  • 9 cans rinsed whole green beans
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp dill
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of prepared French fried onion bits
  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in 1 large or 2 medium-sized baking pans
  2. Sprinkle cheese and onion rings on top
  3. Bake at 350° for approximately 35 minutes

Serves 16-20
