This delicious casserole freezes well for up to 2 weeks before baking

  • 4 large cans French- style green beans (3 cans, if using whole beans)
  • ¾ cup of water
  • 1 14-oz can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped coarsely
  • ½ cup Italian cheese (parmesan, Romano, or feta, whichever your prefer)
  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • Optional: ½ onion chopped fine and sautéed
  • Salt (easy) and pepper to taste
  1. Mix all ingredients in large casserole
  2. Bake uncovered at 350° for 40 minutes

Serves 10-12
