  • 1 head cabbage, thinly sliced
  • Cavenders Seasoning Mix
  • ¼ stick butter
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 2 TBS sauce and gravy flour or plain flour
  • 6-8 ounces Half & Half
  • 1 cup grated Velveeta cheese
  • ½ tsp Tony Chachere’s Seasoning Mix
  • 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  1. Season cabbage with Cavender’s and ¼ stick butter (cut into pieces); place into covered microwavable bowl, then microwave on high for 12 minutes;
  2. Into a skillet melt ½ stick butter and olive oil and sauté onion and celery until wilted
  3. Sprinkle with flour until vegetables are well coated
  4. Slowly add Half & Half and continue stirring and cooking for 5 minutes
  5. Add cheese and return to cooking temperature; sprinkle with Tony’s
  6. Into a greased casserole dish, place cabbage then pour sauce over entire dish; topping with bread crumbs
  7. Bake uncovered at 350? for 20 minutes
