Aunt Dot 2 bags of broccoli flowerets 2 TBS olive oil ½ white onion finely chopped 1 pound medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 pods garlic, pressed 1 small can sliced mushrooms 2 cans cream of shrimp soup 2 8-ounce... 

  • 2 bags of broccoli flowerets
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • ½ white onion finely chopped
  • 1 pound medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 pods garlic, pressed
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cans cream of shrimp soup
  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh chives, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp paprika
  1. Wash broccoli and place into a covered microwavable dish with 1/4 cup water; microwave on high for 5 minutes; remove and drain
  2. In a large sauce pan sauté onion in olive oil for about 5 minutes, until wilted; add shrimp, garlic, and mushrooms and continue cooking until shrimp have turned pink
  3. Add soup and next 5 ingredients, blending well
  4. Add broccoli and stir gently into the other ingredients
  5. Pour contents into large greased casserole dish; sprinkle with bread crumbs topped with paprika
  6. Bake in 350? oven for 30 minutes; remove and serve hot
