  • 1 head of broccoli, washed and cut into flowerets
  • 1 head cauliflower, washed and cut into flowerets
  • Cavender’s Greek Seasoning
  • 4 TBS butter
  • 4 TBS flour
  • 2 cups Half & Half
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 TBS sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss or white cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp Paul Prudhomme\’s vegetable seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  1. Season broccoli and cauliflower with Cavender’s; place in 2 covered glass microwavable bowls with ¼ cup water in each; microwave in 2 separate batches for 7 minutes each; remove and drain well
  2. In a sauce pot melt butter then add flour whisking until mixture is smooth
  3. Slowly add Half & Half and sour cream; cook additional 2 minutes until thickened
  4. Add cheese, white pepper, garlic salt, and seasoning mix
  5. Place vegetables in serving dish and pour white sauce over top, sprinkle paprika on top and serve
