Interesting cheesy sweetness combination Adapted from dish served at Coco Marina, Cocodrie, Louisiana

Ingredients:

  • ¼ pound bacon
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ½ bunch green onions, chopped
  • 3 pods garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small bottle Catalina French Dressing
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound medium – large uncooked shrimp, peeled with tail remaining, and de-veined

Directions:

  1. In large black iron (or heavy duty) skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove, crumble, and set aside
  2. In same skillet, add butter, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire and sauté for 4-5 minutes
  3. Add dressing, wine, peppers, cheeses, bacon, and shrimp
  4. Place skillet in oven and bake at 375º for 10 minutes until bubbly
  5. Serve in individual ramekins with hot French bread
