Great summertime lunch or dinner! Leftovers make an awesome sandwich with coleslaw.
Ingredients:
- 4-5 pound brisket, trimmed
- Salt & pepper
- ½ bottle BBQ sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 6 ounces beer
- ½ jar Woody’s Sweet & Sour Sauce
Instructions:
- Season brisket with salt and pepper, place in smoker and smoke at medium temperature for 4-5 hours; remove from heat
- In a sauce pan, combine remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 30 minutes;
- Place brisket in Dutch oven, pour sauce over brisket and bake at 350° for 3 ½ -4 hours
- Remove, slice and return to sauce in pot, keep warm
Serves 8-10
