Great snack for the big game day!

  • 2 dozen pee wee French bread rolls, cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 TBS vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pack Owens regular flavor sausage
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Romano cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 pods garlic, pressed
  1. Scoop soft bread from inside of peewees
  2. Into a large skillet brown ground beef,sausage, and onion in heated vegetable oil, about 15 minutes
  3. Add salt and next 8 ingredients and combine thoroughly, remove from heat
  4. In a sauce pan, melt butter and add garlic, cook for 3-4 minutes
  5. Brush outside of each peewee with butter-garlic mixture
  6. Place about 3 TBS of meat mixture inside each peewee (at this point they can be frozen for serving a later date)
  7. Place in a preheated over at 350° for 20 minutes; serve hot

Serves 10-12
