Great accompaniment with your favorite chili recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 package Martha White’s Buttermilk Cornbread Mix or Jiffy Cornbread Mix
- 1 egg, lightly beaten

- ½ cup milk
- 1 small can of chopped green chilies
- OR 6-8 slices jalapeño pepper, seeded
- 1 cup shredded Mexican or cheddar cheese
- 1 small can creamed corn or Mexicorn
- 1 small can chopped green chili peppers
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients into a bowl; put small amount of vegetable oil into bottom of a black iron skillet
- Pour ingredients into skillet and bake at 375° for 30 minutes
Serves 4
