Simple, yet tasty appetizer for your Mexican party

  • 4 dozen of your favorite hot tamales unwrapped while cold
  • 2 cans of your favorite chili, heated
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  1. In bottom of casserole, place small amount of chili to coat
  2. Layer tamales, topped with chili then cheese
  3. Bake for about 7-10 minutes until cheese is melted
  4. Serve on small individual plates or use as a dip with tortilla chips

Serves about 12 for hor d’oeurves
