Thin Eggnog

Try this lighter version of the traditional eggnog

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs, separated
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 pint whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 ounce rum
  • 1 pint whiskey
  • 1 TBS vanilla extract
  • Nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff;
  2. Add sugar to yolks, beat
  3. Add yolks to whites and beat well
  4. Stir in rum, whiskey, milk, vanilla, and cream
  5. Refrigerate at least 3 hours
  6. Serve in chilled cups with sprinkle of nutmeg on top

Serves 8-10
