Very old and popular recipe that still tastes great with a cold glass of milk.
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups of all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside
- Into a large bowl beat butter and next 3 ingredients until creamy
- Beat in eggs, one at time and gradually add flour mixture, thoroughly combining
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
- Drop dollops onto ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned
