This refreshingly fruity dessert is also a nice compliment to your filling holiday meals.  Thank you Lory.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 28-ounce can fruit cocktail or about 2 cups fresh fruit
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 TBS granulated brown sugar
  • Half & Half
    Directions:
  1. Grease a 9” Pyrex dish
  2. Mix cake mix, sugar, and milk thoroughly
  3. Stir in melted butter
  4. Add fruit and cinnamon, combine
  5. Pour into pie dish
  6. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes; sprinkle with brown sugar; bake an additional 15 minutes
  7. Serve in custard cups with TBS of Half & Half poured over serving
