A "company dish"!  Absolutely delicious and sure to satisfy your most discriminating guests!

  • 30 Lorna Doone cookies
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 ounces chocolate chips
  1. In a food processor, combine cookies and melted butter, process 20 seconds and remove to large bowl;
  2. Into the process, combine chocolate chips and pecans; pulse 4-5 times until ingredients are in small bits, but not too fine
  3. Add chocolate and pecans to cookie mixture and mix well
  4. Press firmly into the bottom of a greased 9” spring form pan and place into preheated 475° oven for 5-6 minutes and remove
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and add sugar slowing until well blended
  6. Add flour and vanilla continuing to beat
  7. Add eggs one at a time until well blended; add sour cream and beat until all is thoroughly mixed
  8. In a microwavable bowl, melt 3 ounces chocolate chips, remove and add 1 ½ cups of cheese mixture; mixing well
  9. Pour ½ of remaining cheese mixture into pie crust; then with circular motion, drizzle chocolate mixture on top
  10. Pour remaining cheese mixture on top and with spatula cut through mixture to create marbling effect
  11. Bake at 475° for 12 minutes, remove from oven, reduce heat to 250° and bake for 1 additional hour; remove from oven and allow to cool 2-3 hours
  12. Refrigerate 8 hours

Serves 12

To cut, use sharp knife which has been run under hot water; cracks in top of pie are normal
