Popular dessert that combines the flavors of bananas and rum so well!

Ingredients:
- 1 box Duncan Hines Butter Recipe cake mix
- Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat at medium speed for 4 minutes
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup rum
- 3 eggs

- 2 medium size ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat a medium speed for 4 minutes
- Place into greased rectangular baking dish at 350° for 45 minutes, until knife inserted into center comes out clean
Sauce:
- ½ stick butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup rum
Directions:
- Remove and allow to cool before cutting into serving size
- Melt butter over medium high heat, adding sugar, whisk until sugar is dissolved
- Lower heat and add rum, combining
- Pour sauce over individual servings
