Missy's interpretation of this old time brunch recipe was always a hit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 prepared 9”-10” pie crust
  • 4 strips bacon, fried crisp, and crumbled
  • ½ cup ham, diced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar, Swiss, or Muenster cheese
  • 1 cup mushroom slices
  • ½ white onion, finely chopped
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten until frothy
  • 1 ½ cups Half & Half
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Bake pie crust at 400° for 5 minutes; remove and reduce heat to 350°
  2. Into a mixing bowl toss, bacon bits, ham, cheese, mushrooms, white onion, and green onions
  3. Add beaten eggs, Half & Half and last 4 ingredients
  4. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes until top is browned
