Breakfast Pizza

Scrumptious breakfast delight!  Almost better than cold, left-over pizza!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 8-ounce package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¾ tsp dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • ¼ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ¼ green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    Directions:
  1. Cook sausage in medium skillet until browned, drain; set aside
  2. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles; place triangles with elongated points toward center in a greased 12-inch pizza pan; press bottom an sides to form a crust; seal perforations;
  3. Bake dough at 375° for 5 minutes on lower oven rack
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°
  5. Spoon sausage over dough; sprinkle with cheeses
  6. Combine eggs and next 3 ingredients; pour over sausage mixture
  7. Sprinkle pepper slices over egg mixture and bake at 350° on lower oven rack 30-35 minutes

Serves 6-8
