Cinnamon, cream, and raisins make for a delicious breakfast scone. . .

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups biscuit mix
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 TBS butter, melted
  • 3 TBS sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 TBS Half & Half
    Directions:
  1. Combine biscuit mix, sugar, raisins and milk until mixed and moistened
  2. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto a lightly greased baking sheet
  3. Bake 10 minutes at 425°
  4. Into a small sauce pan melt butter and add next 3 ingredients; heat until a glaze is formed
  5. Remove biscuits from oven, brush with cinnamon glaze and bake an additional 2-5 minutes

Yields about 2 dozen
