Shrimp Dip

Another summertime favorite from Uncle Ralph. . .

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 TBS lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 TBS fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 stalk, finely processed celery
  • 1 finely processed small white onion
  • 1 pound peeled, de-veined cooked small shrimp
    Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese and next 9 ingredients, mix well
  2. Add processed celery and onion
  3. Process cooked shrimp into smaller pieces by pulsing about 3 times; add to mixed ingredients
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving with your favorite crackers

Makes about 4 cups
